Do you have confidence in Santa Claus? Jolly Old St. Nicholas is a fundamental part of western society and most of us matured using this type of magical icon. Recently I came upon the notion that Santa represents a distinctive archetype. In Jungian psychology, archetype is defined as an inherited memory represented from the mind by way of a universal symbol and observed in dreams and myths.
In searching for such symbolic images of this dear old man I found that which Santa Claus means may also be used to motivate us in creating to the new year. I see him as a fun-loving guy that brings us joy, love, excitement and happiness. It’s said he makes all of our dreams and wishes becoming reality. During this season we have been filled with expectations, the brilliance of light-filled homes, the fun of being with friends and neighbors to celebrate life, and also the joy and gratitude of giving and receiving.
I realize that santa in your house reflects several archetypes. He is visible in the Innocent archetype, helping us to trust, to hope as well as to believe that a greater day lies ahead. He is clearly driven by faith and trust, bring that hope and giving us that faith along with the trust that every will be well.
The Caregiver archetype, however, will not be from the exercise of power this is the motive, although the drive to bestow care on individuals who require it: the care, concern and nurturing they lack but deserve. He or she is about giving to others fulfilling their requirements. And the man will not request anything in turn except a cookie, glass of milk or some eggnog. He appears to be an effective guy, settling on who receives a new Nintendo and who gets t-shirts or shoes. Whenever we are perfect of course, if we think, Santa will guarantee we receive everything you want.
An important element of Santa’s story is definitely the magical transformation from his rising up a chimney with the touch of his nose together with his yearly trek worldwide. And in addition, his flying reindeer without GPS onboard is nothing short of miraculous, indeed. He magically brings gratitude, compassion and want to all, one child’s heart at a time. Santa may be the quintessential Magician archetype helping us transform and transcend current reality to locate new methods of dealing, being and succeeding.
When we are creating our dreams, our visions, and our alternatives for 2010, let’s all make sure to use our Santa Claus model along with the Law of Attraction, Creation and Allowing. While you have selected then more clearly defined the options in creating your 2010 Journey, use this technique to shift your beliefs and allowing of the which you desire.
Sometimes simply the subtle shift from viewing our images from a grownup facet of attempting to force, worrying over and wondering how things changes, for the wide-eyed expectations and faith of kids. A key element of the skill of Allowing is always to let go and let God. Releasing our attachment to old beliefs, ideas and teachings allows us to available to the Infinite Likelihood of the Universe.
Then too, we could liken Santa’s management techniques to your universal manager. Could you envision him bringing toys to everyone, world-wide, within one night? And all sorts of promptly and within budget? That’s what we’re taught the Universe are capable of doing for us, whenever we change it onto God/Source. In the book “Ask & It Is Actually Given” one of the Proven Processes is catchusanta it over to the manager. As we set our goals, it’s like delegating to a Universal Manager. And as we step back, and let the Universe set things set up, we CREATE! Remember, we’re not stopping choices, we’re merely turning over all the information and creating our choices.
I urge you to pay attention to giving up to your Universal Manager everything you feel you want to do within this holiday week. You’ll believe it is amazing that while we shift our focus of reality, our reality changes. I’ve carried this out personally when I’ve felt overwhelmed by each of the chores I feel I have to do. Amazingly, some get done, some don’t, although some just don’t seem so important. I’ve had occasions when my daughters and daughters-in-law would offer to accomplish some of the baking. I’ve learned to just accept help and reply having a grateful “Yes!” This process is priceless in most areas of life, not just the holidays. Legislation of Attraction is unfolding and orchestrating all that should happen to bring me my desires, Now.
